Course Description
This course introduces learners to the essential concepts and techniques used in engineering surveying, a critical field in construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure development. The course covers measurement principles, use of surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, levels, and GPS), data collection, error analysis, traversing, leveling, and setting out of structures.
Learners will gain hands-on experience in conducting surveys for roads, bridges, buildings, and other engineering projects. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, safety, and the application of modern technology in survey practices.
By the end of the course, students will be able to plan and execute field surveys, analyze and interpret survey data, and apply the results to real-world engineering problems.
